This approach is informed by clinical experience and grounded in partnership. You know your child best. I'm here to help you make sense of the challenges and move forward with purpose and confidence.
Training & Experience
I attended Johns Hopkins University and Drexel University College of Medicine, followed by a residency in pediatrics at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital at Case Western Reserve University. Over the past 20-plus years, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of clinical settings—from private practice to academic medicine—caring for countless children and collaborating closely with families. I served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and, more recently, as an Affiliate Clinical Instructor at Stanford University School of Medicine, earning teaching awards at both institutions.
In addition to my clinical and teaching roles, I co-authored the award-winning book Nourish: The Definitive Plant-Based Nutrition Guide for Families and contributed a chapter on vegetarian nutrition for children in the American Academy of Pediatrics' textbook on pediatric nutrition. I currently serve as the co-director of the Learning Center at Plant-Based Juniors and am an instructor for the BeWell Program at Stanford University.
Why I Do This Work
I've supported families at every stage — from infancy through young adulthood — and what I've seen time and again is that parenting challenges show up in the everyday moments: around the dinner table, during school drop-off, or in the car on the way to practice.
As both a pediatrician and a parent, I know how overwhelming it can be to want the best for your child and still feel unsure about what's right. That's why I offer coaching rooted in empathy, expertise, and real-life strategies — to help you move through the hard parts of parenting with more clarity and confidence.
